When we were kids, most of us played the game of hide and seek. Sue and I use to play it with our grandkids when they were under one year old but putting our hands over our face and then pulling them away saying “Boo”! The kids would laugh their heads off. When we all became older as kids we played a more complicated version of hide and seek with our friends were we had to find the person or persons that were hiding behind trees or bushes.

The game was fun when we could discover the person hiding quickly, but if it took to long we all got discouraged and wanted to quit the game.

When it comes to looking for God we may ask ourselves and others, “Why would God be Hiding” from any of us? Although this is a big question and there is no easy answer I have included a video link by Ravi Zacharias on this very topic.

If you’re finding God to be hidden and getting frustrated looking, don’t give up. Consider the words from Proverbs.

Proverbs 4:4-7 (NLTSE)
My father taught me, “Take my words to heart.
Follow my commands, and you will live.

[5] Get wisdom; develop good judgment.
Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.

[6] Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you.

[7] Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!
And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
